Hamamatsu City Public Sewerage Terminal Treatment Plant (Seien Treatment Area) Operation Project
This was Japan’s first sewerage concession project, covering a treatment area that accounts for approximately 60% of the wastewater treated in Hamamatsu City. Through the comprehensive management and operation of the facilities over a 20-year period, the project has achieved greater efficiency and improved sustainability.

Strengthening Water Pipelines Through Public-Private Partnerships
Osaka City Water Trunk Pipeline Seismic Reinforcement PFI Project
This project strengthens water infrastructure more efficiently and rapidly through public-private partnership. In preparation for natural disasters such as a major Nankai Trough earthquake, approximately 38 km of trunk pipelines will be renewed and upgraded for seismic resilience.
Scope of services: A full range of services related to the renewal (seismic reinforcement) of approximately 38 km of trunk pipelines covered by the project, including planning, design, construction, construction supervision and operation
Creating New Resources from Wastewater
Kisarazu City Sewage Sludge Fertiliser Production Facility Development Project (DBO Model)
This DBO project composts sludge generated at the wastewater treatment plant for use in green spaces and agricultural land. It creates new value from sewage sludge and promotes local resource circulation.
